A Dutch E-Bike Experience - Ride Through Five Faces of Shanghai

The same city can feel completely different from one neighborhood to the next.

On the morning of September 12, our member Bijen will organize a tour around Shanghai, setting off from Julu Road on BIJEN e-bikes, riding through tree-lined historic streets, the modern heart of Jing’an, local residential neighborhoods and the banks of Suzhou Creek before reaching the Bund.

Over three hours, you will experience five different faces of Shanghai:

• Historic neighborhoods beneath the plane trees

• The city’s cosmopolitan way of life

• The modern energy of Jing’an

• Local communities that still carry traces of an earlier Shanghai

• The iconic city views along Suzhou Creek and the Bund

   

Beyond the familiar landmarks, the route also includes a hidden neighborhood stop. Along the way, you will pause for a local Shanghai snack, enjoy a cup of coffee and take in some of the city’s best photo spots.

Pedal assist makes the ride easier, leaving you more time to slow down and notice the Shanghai around you.

9:00 AM｜Check-in, bike fitting and safety briefing

Route｜Julu Road → Jing’an Temple → Hidden Neighborhood Stop → Suzhou Creek → The Bund
Along the Way｜Local Shanghai snack stop + coffee stop
12:00 PM｜End of the ride

The final route and finishing point may be adjusted after the route inspection.
